Flushing allowance
If you have had to flush your tap, you could be eligible for a flushing allowance.
Who is eligible
You are eligible for an allowance if:
- you have had to flush your tap because of discoloured water
- your property is metered.
Unmetered customers are not eligible.
About the allowance
You can claim a £5 allowance per incident. You will receive it as credit on your account.
We will apply the credit within 28 days of your application. It will show on your next bill.
