Education sessions at this site are only suitable for ages eight and above.
Things to do
See the sewage treatment process and bizarre items that end up in our sewers first-hand on a tour of our water recycling centre.
View microorganisms under a microscope and discover how we use them to clean sewage, while also taking part in some exciting STEM activities back in our classroom.
We can also cover how we turn sludge into renewable energy, how water companies fit into the water cycle, and the impact climate change has on water supply and sewage treatment.

- Classroom for up to 35 pupils.
- Microscope linked to projector screen.
- Internet access.
- Toilets (including accessible toilets).
There is limited parking at the site, so please try to car share, or arrive by coach or minibus.
Pedestrian access is strictly prohibited to ensure the health and safety of visitors.
